President of the Arctic Academy of Sciences, Valery Mitko and Academic Secretary, Dr. Marina Minina visited the ICS. They got acquainted with recent work conducted at the Institute under the memorandum of cooperation. V. Mitko and M. Minina were also informed about the three projects implemented at the institute:
1. Technologies and systems of noise control of the beginning and development dynamics of accidents in construction and transport;
2. Development of an intelligent seismic acoustic early warning system for the protection of water bodies in the area and the mitigation of consequences and risks of natural disasters.
3. Creating an intelligent online control system for oil production with the development and use of innovative technologies.
Then discussions were held on further cooperation between the ICS and the Arctic Academy of Sciences.
