Another meeting of the ANAS Council on Problems of Cybernetics, Information Technology and Engineering has been held today.
The chairman of the Council Academician Ismayil Ibrahimov announced the agenda.
The results of activity in the field of Cybernetics, Information Technology and Engineering in 2011 and achievements of the last 20 years, as well as PCI-2012 conference and a number of current issues were discussed at the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, Director of the Cybernetics Institute of ANAS Academician Telman Aliyev and Director of the Information Technology Institute of ANAS , Corresponding member of ANAS Rasim Aliguliyev suggested that the institutes and organizations comprising the Council should submit reports on their scientific achievements within 20 days and publish them as books in the future.
It was decided to hold PCI-2012 conference in September 2012.
Academician Fikret Aliyev, head of the scientific department of the ANAS, Aminaga Sadigov, PhD in Mathematics, Academic secretary of the Council, Adalat Pashayev, Doctor of Engineering and Tahir Alizade, PhD in Engineering also expressed their opinions and suggestions on the issues on the agenda.
