The administration of ICS had a meeting with the representatives of FAO in Azerbaijan, Programme Manager Natavan Aslanova, and Project Coordinator Afsana Latifova on 23 October 2018. During the meeting, Director of the Institute Telman Aliev made a proposal to FAO representatives to establish cooperation between the ICS and FAO. The following projects of ICS were presented to the FAO representatives.
1. "Development and use of intelligent methods for enhancing the efficiency of systems for monitoring, diagnostics and control of artesian wells"
2. "Developing an intelligent seismic-acoustic early warning system for the protection of water bodies in the region and mitigation of consequences and risks of natural disasters"
The visit of FAO representative Mr. Riccardo Biancalani to the ICS in December this year was also discussed at the meeting.
