A meeting between the delegation led by Program Coordinator of the Land and Water Division of UN FAO Riccardo Biancalani, Project Coordinator Afsana Latifova, Director General of the Agrarian Science and Information Counseling Center of the Ministry of Agriculture Vugar Babayev and the administration of the Institute of Control Systems took place at the the ICS on 6 December 2018. Director of the ICS Acad. Telman Aliev and employees of the Institute and demonstrated to the guests the recent work done by the institute. The guests were also given detailed information on the two projects implemented in the institute:
1. "Development and use of intelligent methods for enhancing the efficiency of systems for monitoring, diagnostics and control of artesian wells"
2. "Developing an intelligent seismic-acoustic early warning system for the protection of water bodies in the region and mitigation of consequences and risks of natural disasters"
Then, discussions were held on further cooperation between the ICS, FAO and the Ministry of Agriculture.
