IV International Conference "Problems of Cybernetics and Informatics" (PCI'2012) was held on 12-14 September.
In his opening speech, President of ANAS Academician Makhmud Kerimov emphasized the important role of scientific and technical progress in innovative development and in the life of society of every countru and said that it was necessary to expand modernization process and, first of all, dynamic development and application of information technologies.
At the plenary meeting of the conference, Director of the Cybernetics Institute Academician Telman Aliev read his paper "Technology and systems for minimization of damage from destructive earthquakes".
Section meetings of Section 2, Section 3 and Section 8 were held at the Cybernetics Institute.
The conference successfully finished its work.
