The scientific work of the authors of the Arctic Public Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS "Adaptation of robust seismic protection systems for the Arctic regions" following the results of the "International contest for scientific, scientific, technical and innovative developments aimed at the exploration and development of the Arctic and continental shelf in 2017" with the support of the government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation was pronounced the winner of the contest. Researchers of the Institute of Control Systems Director of the ICS, Acad. Telman Aliev, Head of Laboratory 1.6 Intelligent decision-making methods and computer systems, Doctor of Engineering Elchin Aliyev, Doctor of Engineering Gambar Guluyev, Head of Laboratory 1.5 Monitoring and control systems for technical objects, Farhad Pashayev, PhD in Engineering, leading researcher of Laboratory 1.5 Monitoring and control systems for technical objects, Asker Almasov, electronics engineer of Laboratory 1.5 Monitoring and control systems for technical objects, are coauthors of the work.
102 works from 68 organizations were submitted for the contest in 2017. All the works are aimed at the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and comply with the "Basics of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the Arctic for the period till 2020 and for a further perspective", approved by Presidential Decree No. Pr-169 of September 18, 2008.
The awarding of the winners of the contest will be held on 12 September 2017 from 4 p.m to 5.30 p.m. at the official opening of the International Conference and Exhibition on the Development of Oil and Gas of the Russian Arctic and the Continental Shelf of the CIS Countries - RAO / CIS Offshore 2017.
Registration of participants will take place from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. on 12 September 2017 in the Mikhailovsky Manege (Mikhailovsky Manege, 2 Manezhnaya Sq., St. Petersburg).
