A meeting with the Deputy CEO of the Russian AVP Technology LLC, Doctor of Engineering, Professor Leonid Sorin took place in the Institute of Control Systems (ICS) of ANAS on June, 2, 2022. He met with General Director of ICS Academician Ali Abbasov, Advisor of ANAS Academician Telman Aliev and Head of International Relations and Innovation Department Tofig Babayev, PhD in Engineering.
During the meeting Prof. Sorin spoke about the projects currently implemented by AVP Technology LLC. He pointed out that the equipment and systems applied by the company in electric locomotives operated on the railroads of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan over the past twenty years resulted in energy and fuel saving, improved fire safety and gave great economic effect.
Then Advisor of ANAS Academician Telman Aliev provided detailed information about the research work carried out at ICS in the field of safety in rail transport in recent years. Participants discussed the paper "Problems of increasing the operational safety of the East-West transport corridor" presented by T. Aliev at the I International Transport Conference in Tashkent in May of this year.
Then the parties exchanged views on the implementation of joint projects aimed at improving safety in rail transport and creating intelligent systems. In the end, General Director of the ICS Academician Ali Abbasov and Deputy CEO of AVP Technology LLC Professor L. Sorin signed a memorandum of cooperation.
It should be noted that the main activities of AVP Technology LLC, which has many years of experience, are automated control of railroads, informing of drivers, registration of parameters, monitoring and control of the technical condition of electric locomotives and railcars, and the creation of integrated systems.
